CareHawk / Dukane

Master Com has partnered with CareHawk / Dukane Safety Communications systems to provide high quality, dependable daily and emergency solution based communication system targeted for educational facilities.

Handles emergencies effectively

Emergency situations can disrupt, cause confusion and result in injury or death. In these situations, proper procedures are often forgotten. Such emergencies may consist of violence, accidents, health issues, severe weather, earthquakes, or an intruder on site.

CareHawk’s systems allow for automated local security alerts, district wide alerts, security detection, video and audio surveillance, and integration with other low voltage systems such as fire, security, and access control.

Communicate emergency situations fast and clear anywhere on the campus. Users can create specific tones and voice messages for each emergency situation, such as a tornado warning. Obtain the same level of safety, independent of staff on duty of staff experience. You can pre-record emergency instructions in a calm, clear and concise voice. Trigger these messages from security sensors, telephone codes, cell phones, or from a button push. Messages can automatically repeat. In case of a danger or hazard such as a fire, exit instruction can change based upon the location of the fire, as detected by the fire alarm system.

Low cost dorment cameras for protection while maintaining privacy

Video surveillance systems are extensively used today in schools. Unfortunately they tend to be relegated to exterior doors and hallways. Most video systems end up being used for review after an incident for evidence rather than as a tool in early warning. Most teachers do not want video camera in classrooms, and most schools cannot afford the cost of such a large number of cameras.

Using low-cost CareHawk / Dukane cameras in all classrooms that are kept dormant unless activated by the teachers themselves or the Police give facilities new tools in protecting students and staff. Teachers retain their privacy and gain peace of mind that in an emergency, first responders can see the status of the classroom. These teacher-activated cameras also help quickly resolve false student claims against teachers.

CareHawk was founded in 2006 by former Dukane Canada Corp managers and engineers. Dukane Canada was the manufacturing and design facility for the MCS and StafCall series of communication systems for 20 years. With these reliable and feature rich systems Duakane sold thousands of these system across North America. The founders of CareHawk took their Dukane experience and raised thebar in the market with the CH1000 series of communication systems.
